| RI’s Poultry Businesses Fully Support Efforts to Curb AI

Jakarta, June 27 , 2007 - The Indonesian Poultry Industry Association (GAPPI) agreed today to increase bio-security in every aspect of poultry production to help curb the spread of bird flu. The agreement is another important step in overcoming the virus, said the head of Indonesia’s national bird flu coordinating body.

| The 101 Bird Flu Case Confirmed |
Jakarta, 24 June 2007-Ministry of Health- A child known as “V” (F, 3 years old) from Pesisir sub district, Pekanbaru, Riau Province has been confirmed as Indonesia’s most recent human H5N1 case. Tests conducted by the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and the Eijkman Insitute in Jakarta on June 22, 2007 and June 23, 2007, respectively, confirmed that V is infected by the H5N1 virus.

| 100th Avian Influenza Case Recorded |
Jakarta, 15 June 2007- A 29-year-old man, identified as "Y", has died of the H5N1 avian influenza virus. Tests conducted by the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and the Eijkman Insitute in Jakarta on June 13, 2007 and June 14, 2007 at 18.30, respectively, confirmed that Y, from Peranab subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu District, Riau Province was infected by the H5N1 influenza virus.

| International Experts Meet to Discuss AI Vaccine |
Jakarta, 12 June 2007- Ministry of Agriculture- International experts are meeting in Jakarta this week to discuss Indonesia's vaccination strategy to control avian influenza in animals. The International AI Vaccination Seminar being held 11-12 June 2007 at the Gran Melia Hotel, aims to upgrade basic knowledge about the vaccination program implementation and to review current methods and recent experiences in the use of vaccination as one of the tools to control and prevent losses due to avian influenza

Jakarta, 7 June 2007- Ministry of Health- The Minister of Health, Dr. dr. Siti Fadilah Supari, Sp. JP(K), is attending the APEC Health Ministers Meeting (HMM) which opened yesterday June 6, 2007 in Sydney Australia. The theme of the meeting, which runs from June 6-8, 2007 is Building Our Investment: A Sustainable and Multi-sectoral Approach to Pandemic Preparedness and Emerging Health Threats.

| Indonesia After 2 Years, 99 Cases |
Jakarta, 6 June 2007- Nearly two years after claiming its first human victim in Indonesia, avian influenza remains a serious threat here, the head of Indonesia’s bird flu coordinating body said today. Since June 2005, the virus has infected 99 people in Indonesia, more than any other nation. Some 79 people have died of the disease.
“Both national and community level efforts by the government and international agencies have made a difference, but the situation is still serious; we can not be complacent, everyone needs to remain vigilant,” says KOMNAS FBPI chief executive Bayu Krisnamurthi.

| 99th Avian Influenza Case Recorded |
Jakarta, 2 June 2007, Ministry of Health- A 15-year-old girl from Kendal District, Central Java, has become the latest victim of the H5N1 avian influenza virus. Tests conducted by the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and the Eijkman Insitute in Jakarta on May 29, and June 1, 2007, respectively, confirmed that the girl, known as “R”, was infected with the virus. “R” died on 29 May; she is the 99th confirmed case of H5N1 influenza in Indonesia, and the 79th fatality.
