 | | Jakarta, August 28, 2007 - Ministry of Health - Three bird-flu suspect cases have been found to be negative for the H5N1 virus based on the tests conducted by the Health Research and Development Center Laboratory of the Ministry of Health. The suspects were NKS (F, 43 year-old) and L (F, 50 year-old), both from Bali, and HB (M, 47 year-old) from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

| Jakarta, August 22, 2007 - Ministry of Health - Test results from the Health Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and the Eijkman Insitute in Jakarta have confirmed that AS, a 28-year old female from Banjar Batu Gaing, Baraban, Kediri, Tabanan District in Bali is the most recent confirmed H5N1 case in Indonesia. In total, Bali has now recorded two cases, with two fatalities. Overall, Indonesia has now recorded 105 confirmed human H5N1 cases and 84 fatalities. The case fatality rate now stands at 80%. | Jakarta, August 13, 2007 - The Ministry of Health confirmed today that a new human avian influenza case has been confirmed in Bali. This is the first human case recorded in Bali.
The case, a 29-year-old woman, died on Sunday afternoon August 12 at Sangleh Hospital. She was from Tukad village in Jembrana district 105 kilometers from the capital Denpasar.
