Jakarta, December 26, 2007 - Ministry of Health - A 24-year old woman known as "DF", from Kalideres neighborhood in Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, was bird flu positive, according to tests conducted by the Health Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health . DF had onset on December 14 2007. She was treated at Cengkareng Hospital since December 19, 2007. DF died on December 25, 2007 at dawn.

Jakarta, December 22, 2007 - Ministry of Health - Six people in Terumbu Village, Serang Municipality, Banten Province, are hospitalized in Persahabatan Hospital and are suspected to have been infected by avian influenza virus. Based on tests by the laboratory of the National Institute of Health Research and Development (Litbangkes), six of them are tested negative for H5N1 virus strain. Therefore, these six suspected could not be classified as a family cluster.

Jakarta, December 14, 2007 - Bird Flu Information Center - A 47-year old man known as "Mus", from Cipondoh subDistrict, Tangerang Municipality in Banten Province whom is a confirmed bird flu case based on the tests results conducted by the Health Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and the Eijkman Institute in Jakarta dated December 12 2007 passed away.

Jakarta, December 12, 2007 - Ministry of Health - M (F, 28) from Cikokol, Tangerang, Banten Province is confirmed to be positively infected by H5N1 virus by the test results from the Health Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and from the Eijkman Institute.
